Chocolate Winner

Oh, so close. One number lower and I could have launched this post with a really cool reference to Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. You know. What’s the secret of the universe? 42! Oh, I could have had fun proving chocolate was at the core of our existence and given you an airtight excuse to munch as much as you want when science reveals antioxidants alone won’t keep us young and happy.

But  in its neutral wisdom, Random.org rubbed elbows with Murphy and selected #43 instead. Like I’m supposed to work with that. So, I Googled the number and the best fit I could find in 0.26 seconds was 43 Folders, a site devoted to “finding the time and attention to do your best creative work.”

Okay. Cookbook on chocolate, focused attention, creative output. This just might work after all. But I’ll leave that decision to Roseann K, who was the 43rd person to tell the world their chocolate preferences. She likes milk chocolate. I like dark. So we should be able to share a box of assorted chocolate without it turning into a shoving match.
