The Messy Baker Pin It to Win It Contest

The Messy Baker Pin It to Win It Contest

Recently I talked about the angst of  publishing a book. But that’s only part of the story. Anxiety has loosened its grip and every time I think it’s just a dream, I walk into my front foyer and look at the big box of books sitting there. I thumb through the pages and sniff the paper. It’s a book. It’s real. It’s mine and I’m getting ready to release it into the world.

The Messy Baker officially launches later this month (you can pre-order it here). As the big day approaches, the fun begins. We’re starting with an amazing giveaway that will get you zesting, whisking and baking up a storm.

Above are the contest rules for Rodale’s Pin It to Win It contest. They were a bit sneaky in organizing it. They asked me to talk about my favourite kitchen gadgets for an article, 8 Kitchen Gadgets that Are Actually Useful, but didn’t say much beyond that. Of course, being chatty and passionate about all thinks kitchen, I obliged. After all, I can talk baking and gadgets all day. Just try to stop me. After the article went live today, I learned the article had a second purpose — to select some of the prizes for the contest. Clever!

I pulled out my calculator and since the items I mention don’t add up to $250, I’m guessing Rodale has a few more surprises in store.

The contest is open to anyone 18 years and older, who resides in the US & DC. The contests runs until August 12, 2014. If you’re eligible and interested, here are some links to help you out.

Good luck and happy baking!

Just wondering – the rules look like this is only applicable to US residents. Will there be a contest for Canadians?
