12 Nov Globe and Mail Facts & Arguments Essay
In a blatant act of self-promotion, I’m sending you to read my essay in the Globe and Mail in lieu of blogging.
It’s not funny. It’s not about food. It’s 850 words about raking leaves.
And I’m still sorry.

Posted at 10:53h, 12 NovemberI have chills. What a powerful experience, Charmian. Your essay reads like an allegory even though it obviously happened in real life. Thank you for giving us something truly thought-provoking to reflect on this morning.

Posted at 22:35h, 12 NovemberDear Charmian,
Your gift for taking abstract black and white symbols and transforming them into a poignant story never ceases to amaze me. It is good that we can be reminded how much to take for granted, in so many ways, in such a eloquent way.
Love,

Posted at 14:19h, 17 NovemberThis was great. And I’m sorry I forgot to come back here and comment right away. I guess I was still in “thoughtful” mode after reading it.
Hmm. I could say so much more. I guess that’s the mark of a good essay! 😀
